Rudd man arrested after search
Breaking News RUDD --- Federal authorities arrested a Rudd man earlier this morning after law enforcement from a number of local and state agencies searched for the man. Bob Teig, a spokesman for the U-S Attorney’s office in Cedar Rapids, tells KGLO News that federal agents arrested 58-year-old David Neve of Rudd. Teig says charges have not been formally filed, but Neve will be making his initial court appearance late this afternoon in Cedar Rapids. Teig could not provide any other details in regards to Neve’s arrest, but said more information would be released after Neve’s court appearance. The search started at around 6:30 this morning, with authorities looking in the area of the Rudd cemetery, and at buildings and vehicles on both sides of 150th Street. Agencies involved in the search included the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Iowa State Patrol, Floyd County Sheriff’s Department, the North Iowa Drug Task Force, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and a member of the Des Moines bomb squad.
