Winnebago Industries finishes fiscal year 2010 on positive note
Breaking News FOREST CITY --- Winnebago Industries says their quarterly revenues for the quarter that ended on August 28th doubled over the same quarter in 2009. The Forest City recreational vehicle manufacturer reports today that revenues for the fourth quarter doubled to just over $123 (M) million. That compares to $59-and-a-half (M) million for the fourth quarter last year. Fourth quarter net income for the company is $4-point-9 (M) million, compared to a $50 (M) million net loss for the fourth quarter in 2009. Winnebago President and CEO Bob Olson says while the numbers are great, the company is keeping a close eye on retail sales.  Profits for fiscal year 2010 for the company totaled $10-point-2 (M) million, up from the net loss of $78-point-8 (M) million in fiscal year 2009.

More on this story during the "Midday Report" at 12:06, with comments from Bob Olson.

Moore found guilty of murder, three other charges
Breaking News 11:54 AM, October 13, 2010

DES MOINES --- A jury in Polk County has found a Des Moines man guilty of four charges after being accused of killing his wife, a north-central Iowa native, and shooting a Des Moines police officer. Randall Moore was convicted on charges of first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree sexual abuse in the 2009 death of TereseAnn Lynch Moore. Jurors started deliberations on Tuesday and resumed earlier this morning. Moore is accused of forcing his wife into her car in November 2009, then driving her to an apartment, where he killed her and wounded a police officer. He had pleaded not guilty. His defense called one witness and Moore did not testify. TereseAnn Lynch Moore was a native of Duncan and graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School.
